John Viana, artista Brasileiro, atualmente vive em Lisboa / Portugal, autodidata, artista de grafite, arte-educador, ilustrador e tatuador, iniciou sua carreira na arte urbana em 2008.
Além do grafite nas ruas, a pintura sobre tela é outra forma que utiliza para expressar sua arte.
Em suas obras podemos ver referências à arte em vitral, com linhas fortes e cores vibrantes, e também referências ao realismo e ao 3D.
Suas pinturas trazem uma reflexão sobre o amor e a valorização da família, quase sempre retratada pela imagem do seu filho, levando pureza, sinceridade e simplicidade ao espectador.
Realizou exposição no Museu de Arte da Pampulha, Patrimônio Cultural da Humanidade , em Belo Horizonte.
Também teve suas telas expostas no museu Inimá de Paula uma parceria com o projeto arte favela, com pinturas inspiradas no barroco, desenvolvendo tema da valorização das relações familiares.
Integrou a exposição itinerante DA ARTE URBANA AS GALERIAS , mostra coletiva em prol do patrimônio histórico de minas gerais, uma parceria entre O instituto Yara Tupinambá e a Paróquia de São Sebastião, em Itabirito (MG).
Participou do projeto "Arte que Salva" para angariar fundos as crianças refugiadas da guerra na Síria.
Esteve presente em mais 40 festivais de graffiti pelo Brasil, Argentina, Alemanha e França ao longo de sua carreira.
John Viana, Brazilian artist, currently lives in Lisbon / Portugal, self-taught, art-educator, started his career in urban art in 2008.
In addition to graffiti on the streets, painting on canvas is another way he uses to express his art. In his works we can see references to art in stained glass, with strong lines and vibrant colors, as well as references to realism and 3D.
His paintings bring a reflection on the love and appreciation of the family, almost always portrayed by the image of his son, bringing purity, sincerity and simplicity to the viewer.
He held an exhibition at the Pampulha Art Museum, a Cultural Heritage of Humanity, in Belo Horizonte. His canvases were also exhibited at the Inimá de Paula museum in partnership with the favela art project, with paintings inspired by the Baroque, developing the theme of valuing family relationships.
He was part of the itinerant exhibition OF URBAN ARTS AS GALLERIES, a collective show on behalf of the historical heritage of minas gerais, a partnership between The Yara Tupinambá Institute and the Parish of São Sebastião, in Itabirito (MG).
He participated in the "Arte que Salva" project to raise funds for refugee children from the war in Syria. He was present in more than 40 graffiti festivals throughout Brazil, Argentina, Germany and France throughout his career.
